    Product details

    Background & context

The Humber replaced the ageing Light Reconnaissance Car and quickly became the standard pair of eyes for Commonwealth formations. The Mk II carried a 15 mm and a 7.92 mm Besa machine gun; on the Mk IV an American 37 mm gun replaced the heavy machine gun. It started out in the North African desert war and stayed in service to the very end, in North-West Europe as well as in Burma. Polish formations under British command used it too.

    On the tabletop

The Humber is the Bolt Action armoured car for your British, Commonwealth or Polish army. It drives ahead of the main force, looks for enemy positions and holds its own against light vehicles and infantry. As a Mk II it carries a 15 mm and a 7.92 mm Besa machine gun, as a Mk IV an American 37 mm gun against light armour. It served from North Africa through North West Europe to Burma. An order die, stat card and decals are included.
