    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The SdKfz 222 and its radio car counterpart, the SdKfz 223, were among the Wehrmacht's light armoured reconnaissance vehicles. Both variants were used on the Eastern Front and in the North African Campaign, which is reflected in the included crews in Mid-War and Deutsches Afrikakorps uniforms. The vehicles were armed with a 2cm autocannon and featured characteristic wire mesh grenade deflectors over the open hull.

In the game, it is suitable for reconnaissance, rapid flanking maneuvers, and early capture of key positions.
