Hintergrund & Einordnung

The Panzer IV was the only German tank that remained in production and active service from the beginning to the end of the war. Early versions primarily served as infantry support, while later variants were equipped with long 7.5cm cannons. The Ausf. H, with its skirts and improved armor, was a typical late-war vehicle. The Panzer IV remained the backbone of many German armored units.

Einsatz im Spiel

The Panzer IV Ausf. F1/G/H is a flexible medium tank in the game with several representable development stages. Earlier variants support infantry with high-explosive shells, while later variants take on more of an anti-tank role. This means the kit can be used in very different scenarios. In Bolt Action, Achtung Panzer!, and Chain of Command, it is a versatile choice for German tank lists.
