Product details

Background & context

The Tiger I Ausf. E is categorized in the context of World War II. The classification is based on its historical period of deployment, the role of its prototype, and suitable tabletop systems. This ensures that the nation, war phase, and scenario remain clear in the catalog.

On the tabletop

In Bolt Action the Tiger I is a heavy tank for German army lists from late 1942. Its 8.8 cm gun penetrates almost any armour at long range, and its thick frontal armour forces the enemy to go for the flanks and rear. With three turret tops, two sets of road wheels and the Feifel air filters you can build it as an early version for Tunisia and Russia or as a late one for 1944. It can also be fielded in Achtung Panzer! games.
