Hintergrund & Einordnung

The M18 Hellcat achieved its high speed due to its very light armor, which was at most about 1 inch thick. It first saw action in Italy and became well-known in Northwest Europe, including at Arracourt and during the Battle of the Bulge. The M18 also saw service in the Pacific with US and Chinese Nationalist troops. There, it was often used for fire support, as Japanese tanks posed less of a threat to it.

Einsatz im Spiel

In the game, the M18 Hellcat is primarily an anti-tank or tank destroyer option. The model is most effective when controlling fire lanes and threatening enemy vehicles at range. In Bolt Action / Achtung Panzer! / Chain of Command, it should be used with cover, positional play, and concentrated fire.
