    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    Starting in 1944, the armored divisions of the US Army formed the backbone of the Allied offensive in Western Europe. The Sherman M4A3E8 with its 76mm gun was a direct response to the superiority of German tanks and combined solid firepower with good mobility. It was complemented by specialized vehicles like the M18 Hellcat-the fastest tracked tank of the war-and the light M5 Stuart, which particularly excelled in reconnaissance operations and flank security. This combination of striking power, speed, and flexibility reflects the doctrine of the US Armored Forces in the late stages of the war.

In Achtung Panzer!, the box includes datacards for 16 vehicles, Tank Ace and Asset cards - everything a balanced US tank force needs. It can also be used in Bolt Action and Chain of Command as a complete tank section. Ideal for Western Front and Ardennes scenarios from 1944-45.
