    This plastic kit builds either an LVT(A)-1 or LVT(A)-4 AmTank in 1:56 scale. It contains 85 parts on three sprues, options for open or closed hatches, detailed tracks, and a waterline option.

    The armoured LVT(A) variants served as fire support during amphibious landings and were used by US, British, Canadian, and Australian units, among others.

    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The Landing Vehicle, Tracked was introduced as an amphibious vehicle by the US Navy and used by the US Marine Corps, US Army, and British, Canadian, and Australian forces. Originally intended as a cargo carrier for ship-to-shore transport, the LVT evolved into an assault and fire support vehicle. The armored AmTank versions LVT(A)-1 and LVT(A)-4 received turrets and armament, respectively, from Stuart and M8 HMC contexts. According to Rubicon, 509 LVT(A)-1 and 1,890 LVT(A)-4 were produced.

    In the game, the LVT(A)-1 / LVT(A)-4 Amtank is suitable for rapid flanking maneuvers, reconnaissance, and flexible fire support. Light tanks and scout vehicles should utilize their mobility rather than seeking prolonged frontal engagements. In Bolt Action / Achtung Panzer! / Chain of Command, the model complements infantry and heavier vehicles through speed, mission pressure, and responsiveness. The tags follow the buildable variants and historical operational profile.
