    The Dodge WC55 was a modified version of the WC52 and was used as a 3/4-ton 4x4 Gun Motor Carriage. Rubicon describes it as a vehicle with an M3A1 37mm anti-tank gun including a shield on the cargo bed. This combination was called the M6 Fargo Gun Motor Carriage with 37mm Anti-tank Gun. A total of 5,380 vehicles were built; most were later disassembled and re-commissioned as WC52 trucks.
