    The model comes unpainted and unassembled and covers many operational forms of the Panzer III.

    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The later Panzer III variants reflect the adaptation to tougher combat conditions. Improved armor, longer 5cm guns, and additional protection were intended to increase combat effectiveness. The Ausf. N received a short 7.5cm gun for support tasks. From 1943, the Panzer III lost its importance as a main battle tank but remained in service in specialized and support roles.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    The later Panzer III in the game is a versatile platform for medium tank and support roles. Variants with the longer 5cm cannon are stronger against vehicles, while the Ausf. N can provide infantry support. It is cheaper than heavy tanks and thus easy to integrate into combined arms formations. Depending on the variant, it fits from the early war into late support roles.
