    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The M4A1 Sherman was the first production version of the M4 and featured a one-piece cast hull with a Continental R-975 radial engine. The M4A1(76)W variant introduced the 76mm gun and wet ammunition storage. Rubicon refers to this variant by its British designation as the Sherman IIA. With an early or late T23 turret, the vehicle belongs to the later stages of the war, when stronger anti-tank capabilities became more important.

    In the game, the M4A1(76)W Sherman - Large Hatch forms an armored combat unit for direct fire support and movement towards mission objectives. The tank can accompany infantry, engage enemy vehicles, and exert pressure on key terrain sections.
