    This M4 Sherman / Firefly IC plastic kit contains 6 sprues and options for small or large hull hatches, low or high turret bustle, and 75mm gun, 105mm howitzer, or British Firefly IC variant. Open or closed hatches and tank crew figures allow for multiple representations.

    The Sherman was one of the most important Allied medium tanks of World War II; the Firefly variant received the British 17-pounder gun.

    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The M4 Sherman was the most widely used US and Western Allied medium tank in World War Two. It was built in large numbers and supplied via Lend-Lease to Commonwealth states and the Soviet Union. Rubicon describes the Sherman as reliable, relatively inexpensive to produce, and influential in many Allied offensives from 1942 onwards. The British Firefly conversion received the Ordnance QF 17-pounder gun to combat heavier German tanks more effectively. After 1945, Sherman variants continued to be used in several conflicts.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    In the game, the M4 Sherman / Firefly IC forms an armored combat unit for direct fire support and advancing on mission objectives. The tank can escort infantry, engage enemy vehicles, and put pressure on key terrain sections. In Bolt Action / Achtung Panzer! / Chain of Command, it is a flexible component for tank or combined arms battle groups.
