    Product details

    Background & context

The Wehrmacht standardised its box bodies: the Einheitskoffer of plywood and hardboard had the same dimensions, the same window and door positions and the same stowage lockers on every type of vehicle. That made replacement and conversion simple and made the body the most versatile special variant of all. On the Opel Blitz and Maultier it served as a workshop, radio vehicle, field hospital, field kitchen or cipher office.

    On the tabletop

The Einheitskoffer adds a plywood box body to your Rubicon Opel Blitz or Maultier. It served as a workshop, radio station, aid post, field kitchen or cipher office, so you decide what the vehicle represents. On the table it works as a command post, a mission objective or part of a supply area behind the front. Roof ventilation, rear ladder, fuel cans and a spare wheel are optional extras; the base vehicle is not included.
