    The Rubicon Models 280014 kit represents early Panther variants in 1:56 scale. The plastic kit can be built as a Panther Ausf. D or Ausf. A with cupola options and optional side skirts.

    The model comes unpainted and unassembled and is aimed at historical wargaming and modelling projects.

    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The Panther was developed as a German medium tank based on experiences against the T-34. The Ausf. D was the first production variant and was deployed from 1943. The Ausf. A brought technical changes, including modifications to the cupola and hull machine gun. Both variants represent the Panther's early deployment phase on the Eastern and Western Fronts.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    The Panther Ausf. D or A is a strong medium tank in the game with very good anti-tank capabilities. It threatens enemy vehicles at range and can control key lines of fire. Its cost and potential vulnerability to flanking maneuvers require support from infantry or other vehicles. The kit is well-suited for German armies from 1943 onwards in Bolt Action, Achtung Panzer!, and Chain of Command.
