    Product details

    Background & context

On Tarawa, Peleliu and Iwo Jima the Marine Corps faced the same problem: dug-in defenders in bunkers, caves and tunnels who survived artillery and air strikes. It was solved at close range, with flamethrowers against firing slits, demolition charges against entrances and snipers against anything that looked like an officer. The bazooka was added from 1942 and was more than enough against Japanese tanks.

    On the tabletop

For a Marine Corps platoon this box provides three specialist teams of two figures each, plus three order dice. On islands such as Tarawa, Peleliu or Iwo Jima the flamethrower attacks bunkers, caves and firing slits where rifle fire achieves little. The sniper team goes after enemy officers and the bazooka after vehicles. In Bolt Action the three teams fill the support slots of your USMC list.
