Hintergrund & Einordnung

The United States Marine Corps was the spearhead of the American offensive in the Pacific in World War II. From Guadalcanal in 1942 to Okinawa in 1945, the Marines carried out a series of bloody amphibious landings against heavily fortified Japanese positions - an island-hopping campaign that decided the war in the Pacific. Equipped with a mix of M1 Garand rifles, Thompson submachine guns, BARs, and flamethrowers, the Marines developed their own jungle warfare doctrine against an enemy who defended every square inch with extreme determination.

Semper Fidelis is the USMC starter army for the Pacific War in Bolt Action. With 33 Marines, an MMG team, a mortar, a pack howitzer, and an LVT-4 Buffalo Amtrac, the box provides a ready-to-play 1000-point list for island storm scenarios like Tarawa, Peleliu, or Iwo Jima. In Bolt Action, USMC lists are aggressive assault troops with MMG doctrine and close fire coordination. Ideal for players who want to recreate the toughest US theater of the war.
