    Product details

    Background & context

The M3A1 37mm anti-tank gun was one of the important weapons of the US Marine Corps in World War II. The guns were used to engage infantry, vehicles, or fortified positions at a distance. In a tabletop context, the model represents light anti-tank and infantry support and adds a clearly recognizable support role to armies.

    On the tabletop

In Bolt Action the M3A1 is a light anti-tank gun for the Marine Corps. Its calibre struggles against the thick armour of later German vehicles, but it can still deal with the more thinly armoured Japanese tanks of the Pacific. Site it on a jungle trail or a clearing that enemy vehicles have to cross. A Jeep can tow it into position, and your rifle squads keep attackers away from its three Marine crewmen.
