Hintergrund & Einordnung

In 1944 and 1945, the Red Army was at the peak of its military prowess. After successful major offensives such as Bagration, Soviet troops steadily pushed the Wehrmacht back to the west. The units of this period were better equipped, more experienced, and had strong armored support, especially through the widespread T-34/85.

Einsatz im Spiel

The Late War starter army covers a complete BA list build for 1944-45 - rifle company, heavy mortar team, T-34/85, and character figures for commander slots. Ideal for Operation Bagration, the liberation of Poland, or the storming of Berlin.
