Hintergrund & Einordnung

The Soviet winter offensive of 1941/42 outside Moscow and the battles for Stalingrad showed that the Red Army was better adapted to the extreme winter conditions than the Wehrmacht. Winter infantrymen in fur hats and thick coats became a symbol of Soviet resistance.

Einsatz im Spiel

Like the summer kit, but in full winter camouflage - suitable for all Eastern Front winter campaigns from Moscow 1941 to Berlin 1945. The 40 figures form four rifle squads with a comprehensive weapon mix, ideal for Stalingrad scenarios, the Siege of Leningrad or Operation Bagration in winter.
