With the included head variants in helmet and NKVD cap, regular infantry platoons, Guard squads, NKVD units, and specialist teams can be assembled from a single box.

    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The Soviet infantry formed the backbone of the Red Army and, in its sheer numbers, was almost unbeatable. From the desperate defense in the early years of the Eastern Front campaign to the massive counter-offensives from 1942 onwards, ordinary infantrymen bore the brunt of the war. In addition to standard units with Mosin-Nagant rifles and submachine guns, elite units such as the Guard or the feared NKVD troops offered special tactical options. This kit depicts all of this - and with extras like captured Panzerfaust and sniper rifles, it also reflects the Soviets' improvised, resource-oriented fighting style.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    This kit allows you to assemble multiple complete Red Army rifle squads - from a classic 10-man squad with LMG team to specialized groups with snipers or NKVD units. The enormous weapon selection covers typical Bolt Action and Chain of Command lists across the entire Eastern Front. Ideal as a basis for a Soviet rifle company or to reinforce existing units.
