    Product details

    Background & context

The Ausf. C entered production from 1940 and was the first variant of the half-track to be built in really large numbers. Its angular hull, assembled from many individual plates, ate up production time, which is why it was superseded in 1943 by the simplified Ausf. D. Until then it served in France, in the Balkans, in North Africa and on the Eastern Front and became the emblem of the mobile panzer division.

    On the tabletop

The Hanomag Ausf. C carries your Panzergrenadiers into battle as their armoured transport in Bolt Action. It brings a squad forward under protection and supports it with one MG at the front and one at the rear. Once the men have dismounted, it stays close and gives the infantry covering fire. This version fits games from France in 1940 through the Balkans and North Africa to the Eastern Front, before the Ausf. D took over in 1943. Decals and damage markers are part of the kit, and the Hanomag works in Achtung Panzer! as well.
