    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The Sd.Kfz 251 Ausf. C was one of the early production variants of the standard German half-track and was widely used from 1940 onwards. As the primary transport vehicle for Panzergrenadiers, it enabled close cooperation with tanks and was considered a symbol of German Blitzkrieg tactics. The vehicle was encountered on almost all theaters of war - from the steppes of the Eastern Front to the deserts of North Africa and the hedgerow landscapes of Normandy.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    The Sd.Kfz. 251 Ausf. C is an early Hanomag variant for mechanised German infantry. In the game, it transports squads and provides them with limited MG support as they advance. It is particularly well-suited to Early and Mid-War armies, but can also complement later scenarios as an existing vehicle.
