    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The Sd.Kfz 251 was one of the most important German halftracks of World War II. The 251/10 variant replaced the front machine gun armament with a light 3.7cm PaK and was primarily used as a platoon commander's or support vehicle. With the Ausf. D, the shape of the vehicle was simplified, which accelerated late war production. Such vehicles accompanied Panzergrenadiers and reconnaissance units on various battlefields.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    The Sd.Kfz. 251/10 combines the mobility of an armored personnel carrier with a light 3.7cm PaK. In the game, it can threaten light vehicles while accompanying mechanized units. It is only marginally effective against heavier tanks, but remains useful as a flexible anti-tank and command platform.
