    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

After the shot, four gunners are working their way back to their 12-pounder, the heaviest calibre of the Russian foot artillery. Guns like this formed the heavy position batteries, for example in the Raevsky Redoubt at Borodino in 1812. In Black Powder you set it up where it has long fields of fire and use it to hold a section of your line. Combined with the firing version, your battery shows different moments of the loading drill.
