Product details

Background & context

Rogers' Rangers were one of the most famous Ranger formations of the French and Indian War. They operated in North America in difficult terrain and were known for reconnaissance, ambushes, and flexible combat tactics. The war was part of the global Seven Years' War and shaped the British-French rivalry in North America. Robert Rogers became well-known for his leadership and the Ranger rules associated with him.

On the tabletop

Robert Rogers and ten of his Rangers represent a light force of British scouts for the French and Indian War in Black Powder. The Rangers were known as skilled trackers and fine marksmen, so you use them in the woods, on the flanks and in raids on outposts. Rogers himself leads the unit as its commander figure, and the wolf accompanies the group. Their opponents are French irregulars and the Woodland warriors allied to France.
