Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

One kit builds a pontoon bridge of about 20 x 5 cm, and you can join several in a row until your river is spanned. Engineers laid bridges like this across rivers from the 18th century to the Second World War, so it fits Black Powder as well as later periods. In play the narrow crossing forces troops into a column and leaves them exposed there. Plastic cement is not included.
