    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

Six grenadier heads wearing the czapka, also called rogatywka, turn existing figures into grenadiers of the Polish Vistula Legion for Black Powder. The square-topped cap came from the Polish cavalry tradition and is the instantly recognisable mark of this force. The grenadier companies were regarded as the Legion's toughest element and fought in Spain as well as in Russia in 1812. The bodies come from your French infantry.
