    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

These four command figures lead a battalion of the Pavlovsk Grenadiers in your Russian army in Black Powder. The tall mitre caps make the unit recognisable from across the table. It was the only Russian regiment allowed to keep this old headgear after Friedland in 1807, and two years later it joined the Imperial Guard. At Borodino and in the campaign westwards it fought in especially threatened sectors, and that is exactly where you use it on the table.
