Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Ottavio Piccolomini leads the cavalry of your Imperial or Spanish army in the Thirty Years War in Pike & Shotte. At seventeen he was already commanding a cavalry regiment and fought at the White Mountain, and later he served alongside Pappenheim and in Wallenstein's lifeguard. On the table he belongs at the head of your cuirassiers, and at Lützen he is said to have lost several horses under him, a fitting scenario. The mounted figure is metal.
