    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    Russian troops were a central component of the coalition armies against Napoleon. The campaigns from 1812 to 1815 led them from the defense of Russia across Central Europe to France. Their infantry and artillery stood for mass, steadfastness, and growing operational experience.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    This Russian line infantry forms the standard core of an army for Black Powder, Sharp Practice, and Sharpe's Rifles. In-game, it is used for wide firing lines, battalion-strength advances, and holding central terrain sections. Historically, it is particularly suitable for Coalition scenarios from 1812 onwards and the resistance against Napoleon's Russian campaign.
