Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Russian light batteries used the 6-pounder as their standard gun, supplied here with four gunners in firing poses. They also included Licorne howitzers, which you can add from the same range. Light batteries usually stayed with the infantry division, so in Black Powder the gun accompanies your infantry brigade and fires into advancing columns. The years 1809 to 1815, with battles such as Borodino, set the scene.
