Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

This 5.5-inch howitzer adds a high-angle gun to the British horse artillery in Black Powder. It lobs its shells onto enemies behind hedges, in dips in the ground or beyond the crest of a hill, where flat-firing cannon achieve nothing. A battery typically fielded one such piece alongside several cannon. Together with the Royal Horse Artillery cannon you can build a mixed battery that keeps pace with your cavalry.
