Background & context

The Dutch-Belgian troops were part of Wellington's allied army in 1815. They were under great pressure during the Hundred Days Campaign, as Napoleon rapidly advanced into Belgium after his return from Elba. At Quatre Bras and Waterloo, these units were part of the Allied defence against the French army.

On the tabletop

Modelled in firing poses, the 24 Belgians form a firing line for the troops of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Wellington's army during the Hundred Days. In Black Powder the unit holds its ground and meets advancing French columns with volleys. Scenarios for Quatre Bras and Waterloo get the formations that stood far forward there. A flag sheet is included, although the Belgian battalions hardly carried colours in the field, so it is up to you to decide if it gets used.
