    Background & context

    On the tabletop

A mounted field officer and his adjutant lead your British infantry in the Peninsular War. In Black Powder you put the pair together on one base and use it as the commander of a battalion or a brigade. The colonel usually rode on the flank of his line where as many soldiers as possible could see him, while the adjutant carried orders between brigade staff and battalions. This makes the figures right for the campaigns from 1808 to 1814.
