The model is supplied unpainted and unassembled and is suitable for mobile anti-tank warfare in Bolt Action.

Hintergrund & Einordnung

The Marder III emerged from the need for mobile anti-tank defense against more heavily armored adversaries. It utilized the proven 38(t) chassis and initially mounted captured Soviet 76.2mm guns, later also PaK 40 armament. The open fighting compartment offered little protection but provided an effective gun platform. Marder IIIs were deployed on the Eastern and Western Fronts, as well as in North Africa.

Einsatz im Spiel

In the game, the Marder III is a mobile tank destroyer with powerful armament but a vulnerable open-top superstructure. It should operate from covered firing positions and threaten enemy tanks early on. It is less suitable for direct assaults or prolonged firefights. In Bolt Action, Achtung Panzer!, and Chain of Command, it provides cost-effective anti-tank capabilities in mid-to-late war scenarios.
