    The M3 Grant was the British version of the M3 Medium Tank with a welded turret and served as an interim tank from 1942 until the M4 Sherman was available in larger numbers. The plastic kit includes an M3 Grant with decals, Bolt Action vehicle card and damage markers.

    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The M3 Medium Tank fought in British hands from 1942 and was intended as an interim solution while the M4 Sherman was being developed and brought into production. In its Grant configuration, it received the British welded turret and offered powerful armament for the middle phase of the war. Warlord Games highlights its mechanical reliability and firepower but also points out its already antiquated layout. Historically, the Grant is particularly well suited to the Western Desert and Burma, where its robustness and firepower were valuable.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    In the game, the M3 Grant forms an armoured combat unit for direct fire support and movement towards mission objectives. The tank can accompany infantry, engage enemy vehicles, and exert pressure on key terrain sections. In Bolt Action / Achtung Panzer! / Chain of Command, it is a flexible component for tank or combined arms battle groups.
