The Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer from Warlord Games is a 1:56 scale plastic kit. The set can be built as a Hetzer, Flammpanzer 38(t) or 2cm FlaK auf Hetzer and includes markers, stat cards, instructions and decals.

The model is unpainted and unassembled and suitable for late German and Hungarian forces.

Hintergrund & Einordnung

The Jagdpanzer 38(t), known as the Hetzer, was based on the Czech Panzer 38(t) chassis. It was low-profile, relatively inexpensive to build, and suitable for ambushes. From 1944 onwards, it was deployed by the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS, as well as by allied forces. Variants such as the Flammpanzer 38(t) or the FlaK auf Hetzer expanded its operational capabilities.

Einsatz im Spiel

In the game, the Hetzer is a compact tank destroyer for ambushes and suppressive fire from covered positions. Its low silhouette and good frontal armor make it useful in defense. Thanks to the optional buildable components, the model can also represent special roles such as a flamethrower tank or an anti-aircraft vehicle. It is particularly suitable for late-war scenarios with limited German resources.
