Hintergrund & Einordnung

The paratroopers of the Folgore Division were among Italy's best-trained units. They distinguished themselves through tenacious resistance, especially at El Alamein in 1942. Besides North Africa, paratroopers were also deployed in Sicily and mainland Italy.

Einsatz im Spiel

This set gives a Paracadutisti army the tactical depth it needs. The MMGs cover fields of fire, and the mortar engages targets behind cover. Combined with infantry platoons, this creates a potent fighting force.
