Product details

Background & context

Kradschützen were the fast eyes of the Wehrmacht: small squads on the BMW R75 or Zündapp KS 750 that kept up communications, carried orders and reported where the enemy was. In North Africa two things came together, vast spaces and a signals network that was often only as good as the rider who happened to be on the road. Sand ate chains and carburettors, which is why the machines needed constant maintenance.

On the tabletop

This motorcycle gives your Afrika Korps in Bolt Action a fast vehicle for the wide open desert. In the game it rides ahead as a messenger or scout and reaches flanks and objectives faster than infantry on foot. Rider and pillion are separate parts, and you pick their heads freely with the Figure Head system. You can also put the pillion rider on the motorcycle and sidecar combination.
