    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    Motorcycle riflemen were motorized infantry units used for reconnaissance, liaison, and rapid advances. In the German Africa Korps, BMW R75 and Zündapp KS 750 were the preferred machines - robust enough for the harsh desert terrain and fast enough to outflank enemy forces. Their mobility made them valuable advance units that could cover vast landscapes and report enemy contacts before the main force.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    Motorcycle Infantry are suitable for rapid reconnaissance and liaison tasks of the Afrika Korps. In the game, they can exert early pressure on mission objectives or be used as a mobile flanking unit. As the North Africa context is clear, they are not treated as a Late-War unit.
