Product details

Background & context

The Haudenosaunee, called Iroquois by the French, were not extras in the French and Indian War but allies whose stance could decide entire campaigns. A war party was preceded by councils, dances and ceremonies, which were what made its departure legitimate in the first place. There, war did not begin with the first shot but in the village. This part is almost always missing from the gaming table, although it shaped the character of the woodland conflicts.

On the tabletop

Six Iroquois in ceremonial poses show the side of the forest war that came before the fighting in Black Powder: councils, dances and rituals in camp that gave a war expedition its legitimacy. On the table you use them to build a village as an objective or a scene that a raid revolves around. In the French and Indian War the Haudenosaunee were allies whose stance could shape whole campaigns. All figures are metal.
