    Product details

    Background & context

A German platoon headquarters was more than the officer out in front. Its core included a runner, a medical orderly and, from 1943, more and more often a radio team, because telephone lines did not hold in mobile warfare. The medic worked under fire and unarmed, while the radio operator lugged a set that made him the preferred target of every sniper. Anyone still alive in these roles by 1944 had been through the war from the very beginning.

    On the tabletop

Every platoon needs an officer, and these four resin figures provide the leadership of your German force in Bolt Action. The senior officer directs the attack while the junior one springs forward, heavily armed, to lead it, so you get two leaders at once. The medic runs to a wounded comrade and the radio operator calls in fire support. Place both near the squads they are meant to support.
