Hintergrund & Einordnung

In the course of the war, it was often the most experienced men who, as non-commissioned officers and officers, ensured the cohesion of their units under extreme pressure. In addition to actual command, medics and radio operators were indispensable companions of every combat unit - one rescued wounded under fire, the other coordinated artillery and air support. This set depicts exactly this leadership structure: two officers of different ranks, a medic sprinting to the wounded, and a radio operator with an earpiece - ideal as a command element for a veteran platoon on the Eastern Front, in Stalingrad, or in the Italian campaign.

Einsatz im Spiel

Every Bolt Action army needs at least one commander - this set provides two. The Senior Leader directs the overall operation and provides activation bonuses, while the Junior Leader operates directly on the front lines. The Medic can bring back wounded soldiers and significantly increases the resilience of adjacent units, while the Radio Operator enables dangerous artillery support. For a veteran army, this command set is the tactical core.
