The German Grenadiers plastic set provides 30 late-war infantrymen in M44 field jackets and Zeltbahn camouflage ponchos - the backbone of any German Wehrmacht army from 1944 onwards. With options ranging from STG44s to MG42s and Panzerfausts, rifle squads, command squads, and weapon teams can all be assembled.

Hintergrund & Einordnung

The German Landser of the late war period was an experienced and versatile equipped infantryman. From 1944 onwards, the simplified M44 field jacket and the Zeltbahn camouflage poncho defined the appearance of grenadiers on all fronts - from the Italian campaign and Normandy to the Eastern Front and the last defensive battles in the Reich territory. With the STG44 assault rifle and the Panzerfaust, German infantry squads were able to combat armored vehicles and offer stubborn resistance to superior enemies until the end of the war.

Einsatz im Spiel

German Grenadiers form the backbone of any German Bolt Action army. With 30 figures, you can assemble multiple Rifle Squads, Command Teams, or specialized weapon teams. The wide selection of weapons allows for flexible troop configurations - from the classic Kar 98K rifleman to the STG44-equipped assault squad. The Panzerfaust makes even basic Grenadiers a threat to enemy tanks, while the MG42 as a team weapon significantly increases the squad's firepower.
