    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    German paratroopers were the first airborne troops to be deployed on a large scale. After their early successes and heavy losses on Crete, they were predominantly used as regular, combat-ready ground infantry. Known operational areas included Crete, Italy, the Ardennes, Northwest Europe, and the Eastern Front. The models represent these versatile troops for World War II battles.

    The Parachute Infantry Platoon is a versatile infantry base for German airborne troops and later ground units. The equipment options allow for command elements, rifle squads, MG support, and close-range anti-tank capabilities. It is suitable for Bolt Action and Chain of Command when a robust elite infantry with a wide range of applications is needed.
