    Product details

    Background & context

The Dodge WC series was the standard light truck of the US armed forces: W stood for the model year 1941, C for the half-ton payload, a designation retained for the later three-quarter-tonner. Soldiers called the vehicle the Beep or Big Jeep. It served as a weapons carrier, command car, ambulance, signals vehicle and workshop truck in every theatre of war. By the end of the war, 123,541 vehicles had left the factories.

    On the tabletop

The Dodge WC is the light general-purpose truck of your American army in Bolt Action. As a weapons carrier it brings a weapons team and its ammunition forward, as a staff car it carries your officer, and the open bed has room for all kinds of cargo. Being unarmoured, it should drop off its load behind cover before it comes under fire. With more than 123,000 built, it fits every theatre in which the Americans fought.
