Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

A 9-pounder with four Royal Artillery gunners provides the field artillery of your British Crimean War army in Black Powder. It was the middle calibre of the field batteries and could still be moved over difficult ground. You position it behind your own infantry, engage advancing Russian columns at range and prepare your own attacks. Battles such as the Alma, Inkerman or the siege of Sevastopol set the scene.
