Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Eight mounted metal figures form the lancers of your British Crimean War army. The lance is superior in the first impact, above all against disordered or fleeing enemies, but it becomes unwieldy in a melee. In Black Powder you therefore use the unit to attack shaken troops and avoid a drawn-out fight. At Balaclava in 1854 the lancer regiments rode into the valley with the Light Brigade.
