Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

This pack contains six soldiers of the Compagnies Franches de la Marine, the professional troops of New France under the Ministry of the Navy. Their officers knew the waterways and portages, and they usually fought dispersed in small groups alongside militia and Native allies. In Black Powder you deploy them as regular skirmishers in woods and undergrowth and build a French colonial force around them. Their grey-white coats stand out clearly against dark forest terrain.
