Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

The 9-pounder is the heavier gun of the Royal Horse Artillery. It hits closed formations considerably harder than the light pieces, but asks more of its team of horses. In Black Powder you place it, with the four metal gunners included, on the cavalry wing of your British army, where it supports the horsemen and covers an open flank. It suits Waterloo games well, as light and heavy horse artillery guns stood side by side there.
