Hintergrund & Einordnung

The British Army fought against Napoleon's French forces on the Iberian Peninsula from 1808 to 1814. Warlord names Moore, Craufurd, and Wellesley as the formative commanders of this campaign. The British infantry regiments were supported by Portuguese, Spanish, and German allies. Battles and operations such as Vitoria, Salamanca, Talavera, and the Siege of Badajoz are among the best-known events of this theatre of war.

Einsatz im Spiel

British Line Infantry forms the core of a Peninsular War army, holding the battle line together in-game. In Black Powder, they provide reliable battalions for firefights, changing lines, and coordinated attacks. In Sharp Practice and Sharpe's Rifles, the contents can be used for smaller detachments, outposts, or scenes centered around British infantry in the Iberian theatre. The included command models also make the unit visually a complete formation.
