Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

This box gives your British side a mounted brigade from Natal for the Zulu War of 1879 in 13.5 mm Black Powder games. It contains six mounted and eight dismounted small units, split evenly between Natal Native Contingent Cavalry and Natal Mounted Police or Carbineers. Mounted, you scout and keep contact between the columns; dismounted, the Carbineers fire volleys with their carbines. Mounted troops were the only ones able to keep pace with an impi.
