    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

Austria took its grenadier companies out of the line regiments and combined them into separate battalions that went to the critical points as a reserve. That is exactly how you use this regiment in Black Powder: held back until the decisive moment. The 24 metal figures march in randomly mixed poses, accompanied by two standard bearers, a musician, an NCO and an officer. Historical settings are northern Italy in 1796 and the Rhine and Switzerland in 1799.
