Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Six metal rangers fight in open order, where European line tactics stopped working in the North American forest. In Black Powder you deploy them as skirmishers ahead of your line: they occupy tree lines and wood edges, take aimed shots and keep the enemy front busy. They are modelled on the ranger companies of the British colonies, whose methods Robert Rogers set down in a set of concise rules. The regular battalions advance behind them.
